2024-Current GX550/Toyota LC250/2025-Current 4Runner Rear Recovery Point Installation Guide

A quick preview of the Rear Recovery Point and spacer plates.

For Lexus GX550, use all 6 plates with the longer bolt.

For Toyota Land Cruiser (LC250), use 3-4 plates with the shorter bolt.

For 4Runner, use 2-3 plates with the shorter bolt.

Remove the OEM rear tow hook, by removing the two bolts holding it.

Make sure to remove the wiring clip above the recovery point before installing on 2024+ Land Cruiser and 2025+ 4Runner.

Spray some paint or any rust prevention spray on the bare metal exposed on the frame.

Insert the shortest provided M12 bolt with a washer to the upper mounting point.

Use the corresponding number of spacer plates and the corresponding length bolt for the lower mounting point.

Torque down all the bolts to 75 ft-lbs./101 Nm.
