2024-Current Lexus GX550/3rd Gen Tundra/Sequoia Catalytic Converter Shield Installation Guide

Before the installation, remove the inner M10 bolt on each side of the transmission crossmember. Make sure to leave the outer ones on.

Insert one provided M10 bolt with a washer in reverse on each side of the crossmember, as shown in the picture.

Attach the Catalytic Converter Shield to the crossmember by installing the long M10 bolts and nuts with a washer on each end.

Insert the provided M8 bolts with washer to the rest of the mounting holes.

Install/reinstall the front skid plates if equipped.

Torque down all the M8 bolts to 21 ft-lbs./29 Nm. and M10 bolts to 48 ft-lbs./65 Nm.

Enjoy the extra protection to the catalytic converters as well as the transmission!
