Toyota/Lexus TNGA-F (Mid-size) Rear Shock Mount Skid Plate Kit Installation Guide
This installation guide applies to NYTOP Rear Shock Mount Skid Plate Kits for all Toyota/Lexus TNGA-F mid-size platform trucks and SUV’s, which include:
2024-Current Toyota Tacoma
2024-Current Lexus GX550
2024-Current Toyota Land Cruiser (LC250)
2025-Current Toyota 4Runner
Position the skid plates to the lower rear shock mounts. Note that the skid plates are NOT side specific.
Insert a long M12 bolt and nut combo with washers up top, and two short M12 bolts with washers below (one on each side of the skid plate). Passenger side (U.S. spec) shown in the pictures.
Torque down the long M12 bolts to 75 ft-lbs./101 Nm. and the short M12 bolts to 48 ft-lbs./65 Nm.
Enjoy the extra protection to the lower rear shock mounts.
