Product Weight: 60 lbs. (Steel) / 40 lbs. (Aluminum). Our Tundra Front Hybrid Bumper is finished in wrinkled black powder coat, and made with 3/16-inch high-strength steel to ensure durability, providing an extra layer of protection, while replacing the lower plastic valance. A lightweight aluminum version in silver is also available. Our Hybrid Bumper stands for a metal bumper that doesn’t require cutting or trimming, while still providing extra protection. It is for mild to medium off-road usage, and it doesn’t replace the OEM crash bar/bumper beam, making it a hybrid bumper, and not a full metal bumper. It does not relate to the powertrain of your vehicle. The Front Recovery Points (which the bumper mounts to) are finished in black or red powder coat, and made with 5/8-inch high-strength steel to ensure durability. These front recovery points allow you to mount any standard 3/4-inch D-rings, or soft shackles for emergency off-road recovery. Working Load Limit 10,000 lbs. when using a bridle. Our Hybrid Bumper does not affect or alter the safety standards of the vehicle.

They mount directly to the main rail as well as the bumper beam (replacing the OEM brackets), providing protection to the OEM bumper and recovery towing points. Will require the removal of the lower plastic valance, which can be done without removing the whole bumper cover from the vehicle. Our Hybrid Bumper DOES NOT interfere with the automatic air dam/active spoiler.
