Our 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma Hybrid Bumper is finished in wrinkled black powder coat, and TIG welded with 3/16-inch high-strength steel to ensure durability, providing an extra layer of protection, while replacing the lower plastic valance. A lightweight aluminum version in silver is also available. Our Hybrid Bumper stands for a metal bumper that doesn’t require cutting or trimming, while still providing extra protection. It is for mild to medium off-road usage, and it doesn’t replace the OEM crash bar/bumper beam, making it a hybrid bumper, and not a full metal bumper. It does not relate to the powertrain of your vehicle. The Front Recovery Points (which the Hybrid Bumper mounts to) are finished in black or red powder coat, and made with 5/8-inch high-strength steel to ensure durability. Our Hybrid Bumper does not affect or alter the safety standards of the vehicle.
