NYTOP Limited Warranty

NYTOP stands behind the quality of its products.

NYTOP-branded products are backed by a Three-Year Limited Product Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, plus a One-Year Limited Finish Warranty covering qualifying defects in the original factory-applied finish.

Warranty coverage is subject to the terms, exclusions, eligibility requirements, and claim procedures described below.

Warranty at a Glance

3-Year Product/Structural Warranty – Covers defects in materials and workmanship.

1-Year Finish Warranty – Covers qualifying defects in the original factory-applied finish.

Third-Party Product Warranty – Products not manufactured by NYTOP are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, if any.

1. Three-Year Limited Product Warranty

NYTOP warrants to the original retail purchaser that NYTOP-branded products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use for a period of three (3) years from the original date of retail purchase.

What Is Covered

Subject to inspection and confirmation by NYTOP, covered defects may include:

  • Structural or mounting component failure caused by a defect in materials or workmanship

  • Weld failure caused by defective workmanship

  • Material defects

  • Machining or manufacturing defects

  • Manufacturing defects that materially affect the intended function of the product

  • Other defects in materials or workmanship determined by NYTOP to be covered under this Limited Warranty

What Is Not Covered

The Three-Year Limited Product Warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or failure resulting from:

  • Accidents, collisions, or vehicle damage

  • Impact damage

  • Rock strikes, trail damage, road debris, or other external forces

  • Improper or incorrect installation

  • Failure to follow installation instructions

  • Installation on an incompatible vehicle, model year, trim, or configuration

  • Improper use, misuse, abuse, racing, or use outside the product's intended purpose

  • Overloading or exceeding published product limitations

  • Unauthorized modification, cutting, drilling, welding, grinding, or alteration of the product

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Lack of reasonable inspection, maintenance, or care

  • Loose, improperly installed, or improperly torqued hardware

  • Damage caused by another vehicle component or aftermarket product

  • Vehicle manufacturing tolerances

  • Pre-existing vehicle damage or prior vehicle modifications

  • Cosmetic deterioration or corrosion except where specifically covered by the One-Year Limited Finish Warranty

  • Conditions or events outside NYTOP's reasonable control

Normal manufacturing variation that does not materially affect the intended function of the product is not considered a defect.

2. One-Year Limited Finish Warranty

Factory-applied powder coating, paint, anodizing, or other finishes on NYTOP-branded products are covered against qualifying defects in the original finish application for one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase.

What Is Covered

Subject to inspection and confirmation by NYTOP, covered finish defects may include:

  • Abnormal peeling

  • Blistering

  • Flaking

  • Premature loss of adhesion

  • Other finish failures determined to have resulted from a defect in the original factory finish application

What Is Not Covered

The One-Year Limited Finish Warranty does not cover:

  • Chips

  • Scratches

  • Dents

  • Abrasion

  • Damage caused by installation or maintenance tools

  • Rock chips or road debris

  • Trail use or off-road contact

  • Collision or impact damage

  • Damage caused by chemicals or improper cleaning products

  • Damage caused by abrasive cleaning methods

  • Corrosion caused by road salt, de-icing chemicals, coastal environments, marine environments, or other corrosive conditions

  • Rust or corrosion originating from an area where the finish has been chipped, scratched, worn through, or otherwise damaged

  • Normal fading

  • Normal discoloration

  • Normal weathering

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage resulting from modification, alteration, or improper maintenance

Minor cosmetic variations that are normal for the applicable manufacturing or finishing process are not considered defects.

3. Warranty Eligibility

This Limited Warranty applies to qualifying NYTOP-branded products purchased:

  • Directly from NYTOP; or

  • Through an authorized NYTOP dealer or retailer

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the warranty applies to the original retail purchaser and begins on the original date of retail purchase.

NYTOP may require reasonable proof of purchase, including an order number, receipt, or authorized dealer invoice.

The warranty applies only to genuine NYTOP-branded products.

4. Third-Party Products

Products manufactured by third parties and sold or distributed by NYTOP are not covered by the NYTOP Limited Warranty unless expressly stated otherwise.

Such products are subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty, if any.

Warranty coverage, claim procedures, and remedies for third-party products are determined by the original manufacturer.

5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To request warranty consideration, please contact:

Please provide the following information:

  • Original order number or other reasonable proof of purchase

  • Product name

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear close-up photographs showing the affected area

  • Photographs showing the overall product and installation

  • Vehicle year, make, model, and trim, where relevant

NYTOP may also request additional photographs, measurements, installation information, video, or other documentation reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

NYTOP may require inspection of the product or return of the affected product or component before approving a warranty claim.

Customers should not dispose of, modify, repair, or further damage a product that is the subject of a warranty claim before NYTOP has had a reasonable opportunity to evaluate the issue.

Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically mean that the claim is covered. Warranty coverage will be determined after NYTOP reviews the available information.

6. Warranty Remedies

If NYTOP determines that a product has a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, NYTOP will provide an appropriate remedy as required by applicable law.

Depending on the nature of the defect, the remedy may include:

  • Repair of the affected product or component

  • Replacement of the affected component

  • Replacement of the product with the same or a reasonably equivalent product

  • Refund where appropriate or required by applicable law

Where permitted by applicable law, NYTOP may use new or functionally equivalent replacement components to fulfill a warranty claim.

Replacement of an entire product is not required when the covered defect can reasonably be corrected through repair or replacement of the affected component, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

7. Costs Not Covered

Except where otherwise required by applicable law, the NYTOP Limited Warranty covers the warranted NYTOP product itself and does not cover separate or consequential costs associated with installation, removal, diagnosis, transportation, vehicle use, or third-party services.

Costs not covered may include:

  • Installation labor

  • Removal labor

  • Reinstallation labor

  • Shop labor

  • Diagnostic fees

  • Towing

  • Vehicle transportation

  • Rental vehicles

  • Vehicle downtime

  • Loss of use

  • Loss of income or profits

  • Travel expenses

  • Damage to unrelated products or vehicle components

Nothing in this section excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

8. Additional Legal Rights

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any warranty, consumer protection, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable law.
