The protruding design provides both a clean, aesthetic look and added protection against low-speed rear impacts. The dual hitch pin design (1.5 inches and 2.5 inches from the front of the hitch) ensures compatibility with most tow hitch products on the market. The assembly mounts directly to the OEM tow hitch receiver mounting locations and is designed, engineered, and tested according to SAE J684 and J2807 standards.
